This mesmerizing Wikipedia visualizer also lets you listen to updates in real-time

This mesmerizing Wikipedia visualizer also lets you listen to updates in real-time

Wikipedia, the online source for just about everything, is updated almost constantly. While the back-end fixes are boring stuff, this visualizer makes it look gorgeous.

Bubbles pop up and musical notes ping in real-time, all coordinating with updates on Wikipedia. Clicking on a bubble takes you to a page where you can see the legacy page alongside the edits made.

Along the top, new Wikipedia members are welcomed via a small banner. Below, a different stream shows updates as lines of text, also in real-time.

There are also some settings, should you want to view updates in certain languages, hide titles or the graphics so you can listen to the music in the background.
