If you’re not going to see Star Wars the day it opens (and that’s most of you reading this), a new Chrome extension may help you from seeing spoilers online.
Called ‘Force Block,’ the extension brings up a full-screen warning to shield you from just about any mention of Star Wars: The Force Awakens it comes across. It relates to the entire page, too — not just the spoiler.
“This event was off the charts”
Gary Vaynerchuk was so impressed with TNW Conference 2016 he paused mid-talk to applaud us.
That’ll make it tough for you to visit more general sites that have tasked writers to author a review or the dreaded hot-take. Luckily, if you know you’re in little danger of being spoiled, there’s a way to dismiss the warning page, and whitelist the site for future visits.
Go ahead, download the extension and save yourself from internet spoilers. You’ll still have to yell “shut up!” at your friends who see the movie before you; sadly, we’ve got no real-life friend blocker to look towards.
