Bouncing off of its efforts in enterprise with IBM, Apple is now teaming up with Cisco to provide “a fast lane for iOS business users.”
The partnership will “optimize” iOS devices on Cisco networks, which may create a more reliable and efficient connection for business customers. Additionally, Cisco’s voice and video solutions (like Cisco Spark, Cisco Telepresence and Cisco WebEx) will work with iOS so employees can switch from a desk phone to iPhone without any hiccups.
“Together with Cisco, we believe we can give businesses the tools to maximize the potential of iOS and help employees become even more productive using the devices they already love” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.
