Apple’s new market for Apple Watch? Those with chubby wrists

Apple’s new market for Apple Watch? Those with chubby wrists

If you’ve gone into an Apple Store to try on an Apple Watch, only to find it’s a bit to snug for your meaty wrists, we’ve got good news. Apple has released a kit that allows users to add extra links to their Apple Watch as well as a larger Sport Band.

The kit comes with six additional links for the 42mm Apple Watch, and only works with the Link Bracelet (of course). But, for $49 per pack, you’ll be able to expand your Apple Watch past its 215mm limit indefinitely (please feel free to make a belt, or a necklace).

If the link bracelet isn’t your thing, Apple also has a new L/XL sizing option for the 42mm Apple Watch Sport Band. With the new band, your Apple Watch can now fit a wrist up to 245mm.

The new Sport Band is also $49.

Both the kit and the new band are available via Apple’s website, and ship in 5-7 days.
