Buying tickets to events online is the first step to a fun night out. Transportation is also crucial, and possibly the more frustrating aspect. Now, StubHub and Uber will let you schedule a reminder to request a pick-up once you purchase tickets on your smartphone.
If you purchase tickets well in advance, StubHub will offer to remind you when the event draws near that you should schedule an Uber ride.
When you buy tickets at the last minute (less than two hours before the event starts), you’ll be able to order a ride directly from the order page.
The feature will make its way to StubHub’s Android and iOS apps. First-time Uber riders will receive a $20 voucher towards the trip; a great offer for those of you catching a ride to the Staples Center so you can watch the Clippers go 73-9 this season!
