Square launches a mobile app for its Caviar food delivery service

Square launches a mobile app for its Caviar food delivery service

Earlier this summer, payments processing company Square bought Caviar, a startup that allows you to order food straight to your home from fancy restaurants that typically don’t offer delivery.

Today, the company is introducing its first mobile app for the platform. The app lets users browse through menus with photos for each individual item, and then follow their food’s order status while on the go.

As a side note, Square also announced that Brooklyn and the South Bay area (including San Jose, Curpertino and Sunnyvale) are being added to its coverage area.
