Foursquare finally launches its revamped app on Windows Phone

Starting today,  Windows Phone users can finally download Foursquare’s revamped app.

Although Foursquare had been available on Windows Phone before, this marks the first time the redesigned version of the app has hit the platform.

Foursquare now does away with the check-ins feature it became famous for and relegates that functionality to the company’s Swarm app. The current app instead focuses on helping you discover new places to go to, making use of reviews and tags called ‘tastes’ to help cater results to your preferences.

The new Foursquare app is available on the Windows Phone app store now.
