Another week, another Yahoo acquisition. This time it’s Luminate (via TechCrunch), an advertising service that places ads within images.
Luminate shut down its service as of Wednesday, September 3. Publishers will receive a final payment by the end of the month and advertisers will have their account balances returned to them.
