Flickr increases its photo limit for user-created galleries from 18 to 50

Photographers, take note. Flickr today increased the maximum number of images supported in user-created galleries from 18 to 50.

Rather like Pinterest, galleries allow Flickr users to create their own curated photo sets; these can feature their own images exclusively, those shared by other photographers, or a mixture of the two. To create a new gallery, simply navigate to a photo and click the ‘Add to Gallery’ option.

It’s a small tweak, but one that should encourage Flickr users to share, promote and discuss their favorite work with the rest of the community.
