Samsung launches LTE version of its Galaxy S4 zoom compact camera, smartphone hybrid across Europe

Samsung launched a second version of its Galaxy S4 zoom, an Android smartphone that boasts a 16-megapixel sensor, Optical Image Stabilization and 10x optical zoom, with LTE in Europe today.

Given that the device takes such high-resolution photographs and video, 4G-connectivity will be a welcome addition for anyone hoping to quickly upload their best shots to the Web while out and about.

Announced in June, the Galaxy S4 zoom runs on Android version 4.2 alongside Samsung’s Touchwiz skin. It packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch Super OMOLED display and 8GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD slot compatible up to 64GB.

Samsung says the new LTE version will be available on a number of networks, including Deutsche Telekom, Tele2, TeliaSonera and Orange.
