Mobile social games developer Pocket Gems has announced that it’s kicking off its publishing division with its first two titles coming to Android and iOS this month.
Pocket Gems Publishing will provide game developers with “marketing expertise to ensure a successful launch, promotion to find and attract loyal users, customized game design and product advice, and QA support,” stated the company in its press release.
The first title to be released under Pocket Gems Publishing is Chasing Yello from dreamfab, where users need to help a goldfish to evade all sorts of obstacles by tilting and swiping their phones. The game originally launched on iOS in June, and since then saw more than 4.5 million downloads. Next week, the game will hit Google Play, and a release in the Amazon Appstore is coming soon.
Users of iOS devices will also see something from the new publishing brand before Christmas. The game Amazing Ants, which is the debut of Twyngo game studio, lets users help ants in gathering fruits by solving different puzzles. It’s coming to Apple’s App Store later this month.

Pocket Gems has announced its plans to release Robo Quest, a shooter for iOS. The game is still in works, as its developer WeRPlay is planning to bring it to the public next year.
Founded in 2009, Pocket Gems originally focused on developing free-to-play social games. Its titles have been downloaded from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon Appstore more than 90 million times.
