Cloud telephony firm Infratel lands $3 million from Prostor and Runa Capital

Infratel, a company that provides a range of cloud telephone services for small businesses, has raised $3 million in Series A funding in a round led by a duo of Russian venture capital firms: Prostor Capital and Runa Capital.

The firm says it will use the fresh cash to expand its platform and increase its presence globally.

Infratel integrates directly with a provider’s infrastructure, enabling its small business clients to more effectively handle interactions with their customers over the phone.

The company’s solutions include a ‘Cloud Receptionist’ virtual phone system, an accompanying Facebook app, a way to create and manage voice-based ad campaigns and a product dubbed ClickConnect, which lets customers add click-to-call capabilities to their websites.
