Forbes’ Midas List of top tech investors draws a lot of attention, criticism

So Forbes yesterday released the 2012 Midas List of top tech investors.

Jim Breyer is king of the hill, again, and in fact 5 of the top 10 tech investors have Facebook as a portfolio company (having Twitter, LinkedIn, Zynga or Groupon in the investment portfolio also helps people get onto the list).

There are indeed a lot of new faces on the Midas List (changing of the guard?).

Only 5 (admittedly extraordinary) women are among the top 100 investors.

And yes, it’s kind of like a Stanford reunion at the top: 39% of the world’s best VCs – according to Forbes – studied at Stanford University.

Any other good ones we’ve missed?
