Yes! There is no denying the fact that Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a superb smartphone device. It is the best choice of all android lovers in recent times. The phone has already received several awards, and recently they have won an award of best smartphone device of 2016 at mobile world congress ended on 2nd March 2017. This award is given by GSM association (a trade body that represent over 500 carriers across the globe).

What Vice President of Samsung Says About It

Junho Park, Vice President of Global Product Strategy, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics, had a statement on the award you’d expect any smartphone manufacturing firm to make: “We are honored to be recognized for our craftsmanship in design and innovation with the Galaxy S7 edge. This award is a testament to our constant pursuit of excellence as we continue to exceed consumers’ expectations through revolutionary mobile technology.”

It was Its Design & Performance That Convince the Judges

It has been almost a year, when Samsung has launched Galaxy S7 at mobile world congress in 2016.  Apple iPhone7 plus, Google Pixel XL, Huawei P9 and Moto Z were also in the list of best mobile of the year award, but Samsung S7 edge seal the victory.  Moto Z and Pixel XL were launched in the ending months of 2016, so it’s quite an achievement for them to be in the best mobile’s list of 2016. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has received this award because of its outstanding refined design, great camera and excellent smooth performance. Samsung Galaxy S7 possess following features.

  • 5 inch QHD AMOLED Display
  • Octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset
  • Snapdragon 820 processor
  • 32GB/ 64GB internal storage
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera
  • 5MP selfie shooter
  • 3600mAh battery

It’s a great achievement for a smartphone manufacturing company, whom reputation was on stake because of its Samsung’s Note 7 fiasco debacle in year 2016.  Samsung has to bear billions of dollars, and has to replace all those device in order to maintain customer loyalty. Samsung found that a design defect and incorrect battery positioning in the Galaxy Note 7 upper right corner has caused the problem. They admit their manufacturing fault and kept on addressing the customer queries and now they get the prize of all their efforts, they have done to reassure goodwill.
