You can now explore Google Maps as Link from ‘The Legend of Zelda’

The ‘Legend of Zelda’ series has some of the most memorable landscapes in gaming history, but what if you could explore the actual Earth as series hero Link?

It turns out Google is running a little cross promotion with Nintendo, which today releases ‘The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD‘ in the US and Europe. Link Pegman will be available for five more days (the game arrives in Japan on March 10).

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like you can do anything beyond move him around, but at least it’ll make exploring your city just a little more adventurous – just make sure to pack some Lon Lon milk for those longer trips.
