Google goes full fanboy with the naming of the roads at its self-driving car campus

Google’s self-driving car facility is on the site of the former Castle Air Force Base in California and so it’s aptly named Castle.

However, the creative names don’t stop there.

From a post by Steven Levy on the life of a self-driving car tester, a map of the grounds shows Google’s staff have had some fun expressing their love for famous automobiles and car-related movies.

Yes, there’s everything from Fury Road (after ‘Mad Max’) to McFly Way and Delorean Avenue (after ‘Back to the Future’).
