Google plays some tricks with “I’m Feeling Lucky”, adds “I’m Feeling Hungry” and others

If you’re a Google search user like a lot of people, you’re very familiar with the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, which is perfect for those times when you’re too lazy to dig deep into search results.

Today, I noticed that when I hovered over the button, it changed rapidly. Almost like a slot machine. I haven’t noticed this before, but maybe you have.

The options I saw were “I’m Feeling Trendy”, “I’m Feeling Hungry” and “I’m Feeling Playful”, but there are others. When you choose one, you’re sent to a Google page that relates to your choice.

Here’s where the “I’m Feeling Hungry” sends me:

The “I’m Feeling Trendy” button takes you to Google trends. I’m a fan of easter eggs, and Google is pretty good at them.
