Google has released a new beta version of Chrome that it claims is 15% faster than previous versions and sports a new, cleaner design.
Beyond the speed and interface improvements, Google has also included Autofill into this release, which helps users to more quickly fill out forms. Chrome saves the info over time (i.e. from the different forms you fill out) and according to the Google Chrome Blog,
“For your security, any personal information stored in Chrome is safely stored and kept private until a user chooses to share the information with a website. Additionally, your credit card information is never saved without first asking you explicitly.”
Finally, syncing capabilities have been improved to include syncing of Chrome extensions and Autofill data (but not credit card info) through a Google Account.
