Mark Zuckerberg has just announced that the next Facebook F8 developer conference will be at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on March 25, 2015.
This represents a return to an annual frequency for an event that was on hiatus between September 2011 and today. Zuckerberg promised that Fort Mason would represent a “bigger, cooler” venue for the event, which has been relatively low-key this year.
In 2011, I described the epic, TV show-style livestream that Facebook put on as “a milestone in online media.” There was nothing quite like that this time at the Concourse Exhibition Center.
No word as yet on when tickets will be available for F8 2015.
