Moxie executive leaves digital agency after 9 years to join Facebook

After serving nine years at Atlanta-based digital agency Moxie Interactive as its Senior Vice President of Creative, Facebook has snapped up Chris Gomersall, who will start working with the company from April 1, MediaBistro reports.

Gomersall tells MediaBistro that it was a difficult decision to leave Moxie but the “position is an incredible opportunity and I’m excited to join the [Facebook] team.”

At Facebook, he’ll be working as “creative strategist”.

Judging by Gomersall’s past work, Facebook will be utilising his advertising and marketing expertise to work with clients and boost revenue. The former Moxie exec’s past project clients including Verizon, 20th Century Fox, L’Oreal, HP, The American Cancer Society, UPS and Coca-Cola, to name but a few.
