In less than two weeks, the LeWeb conference will be upon us and London will be buzzing with the arrival of tech founders, speakers, startups and more. Expect a vast collection of tech experts, entrepreneurs and innovators to descend upon Central Hall Westminster over June 19 and 20.
The list of speakers is growing and strengthening as more interesting names from the world of media and technology step up to 
join proceedings. The latest confirmed appearances will be by TV chef Jamie Oliver, Instagram founder and CEO Kevin Systrom, founder of Digg, co-founder of Revision3 and co-founder of Milk, Kevin Rose, Chad Hurley, Co-founder and CEO of AVOS Systems and of course co-founder of YouTube, Niklas Zennstrom founder of Atomico and Baratunde Thurston the tech loving comedian.
The theme of the event is if course ‘Faster than Real Time‘ and it will be interesting to see how each speaker translates this idea.
The startup competition will also be running on the themes of speed and notifications with 16 teams primed to present their ideas. Ben Metcalf is the host and the judging panel will be made up of Bindi Karia, VC/Emerging Business Lead, Microsoft Corporation, Todor Tashev, Investment Partner, Omidyar Network and Joshua Kushner, Managing Partner, Thrive Capital.

The app provides a guide to the schedule as well as pulling together images and tweets about what’s happening.
There’s still a few tickets left, but already more than 1,000 participants have registered and as the event is expected to sell out, you have only a few more days to make sure you can get in.
Naturally organiser Loic Le Meur is very excited to see so many people sign up, “It took us 5 years to reach 1,000 participants in Paris and it’s already our size for London,” he says. You can take a sneaky peek at everyone else who is registered on the list here.
