Sony reveals full suite of entertainment apps for European PlayStation 4 launch

As we approach the European launch of the much-anticipated PlayStation 4, Sony has revealed the full suite of entertainment apps that will be made available for the upcoming launch.

While we did know some of these already, this does bring some clarity to the situation in terms of what exactly will be available, in what country, at launch on Friday. Eighteen will be available across the board, while more than twenty additional apps will follow by spring 2014 – this will include TuneIn, Game One, Filmo TV and MUBI.

Sony’s own Music Unlimited and Video Limited will of course be made available in most markets at first, while the likes of IGN, BBC iPlayer, LOVEFiLM, Netflix and more will be available, varying by the country of purchase. Check out the full list over on the EU PlayStation blog below.
