Deutsche Telekom’s Spotify bundles launch in Germany on October 2, starting at €29.95 per month

Back in August we reported that Spotify was teaming up with Deutsche Telekom in Germany to offer bundled subscriptions to the music-streaming service. Well, the service will be made available from tomorrow, Tuesday October 2.

Deutsche Telekom is one of Europe’s biggest telecommunication companies, offering mobile and fixed line telephone services through a number of subsidiaries, including EverythingEverywhere in the UK.

First up, the giant will be offering its first ever mobile phone package to include unlimited Spotify streaming (Premium), and crucially this will be exempt from any data caps dictated by the tariff, as we reported previously.

There will be two tariffs bundled with Spotify Premium – the first costing €29.95 per month without a handset, or €39.95 per month with a new smartphone. The tariffs will be made available online, or in all of Deutsche Telekom shops across Germany. Spotify Premium will also be available as an add-on for €9.95 for Deutsche Telekom’s fixed line and mobile customers later this year.

The launch is the latest in a number of similar partnerships across Europe, including Telia in Scandinavia, Virgin Media in the UK, Yoigo in Spain, SFR in France and KPN in the Netherlands.
