Berlin startups: Come and meet The Next Web this Monday

Berlin startups: Come and meet The Next Web this Monday

One of the best parts of my role as European Editor at The Next Web is having the opportunity to travel to meet the entrepreneurs who are sculpting the future of the continent’s technology industry.

One city I’ve never had a chance to get to though, is Berlin. It’s no secret that the German capital city has one of the most exciting startup scenes in Europe and on this coming Monday I finally get a chance to see a bit of it for myself.

Yes, The Next Web is coming to Berlin and I’ll be at Cafe St Oberholz in Berlin’s central Mitte district on Monday night, 22 August, from 7.30pm onwards. Please do drop by if you’re a tech startup and want to demo an app, or just want to tell TNW about what your business is up to. It’s going to be a casual thing – a humble tech blogger sat in a bar hoping that startups drop by to say hello!

The cafe has set aside some space for us near the bar, and hopefully there’ll be room for everyone who can make it, but please check my Twitter account, @MartinSFP, on the evening, where I’ll spread the word if there’s a last-minute change of plan. Sadly, I’m just in Berlin for less than 24 hours this time, but something tells me that I’ll be keen to come back for more!
