This GitHub repo actually teaches you basic Web design in 4 minutes

Web design sounds like a simple principle, but it’s not easy — and there’s a lot to it. There’s a GitHub repo that promises to get you up and running in as little as four minutes.

Really, its a base for a tutorial that seems to show how the website you end up on was built. It walks you through things like text formatting, adding custom font styles and background colors.

Will you be qualified for a front-end Web developer position after your four minute tutorial? No, but you’ll have a better idea of how that type of job works. It’s pretty basic HTML stuff — there’s no way you’d be able to wrap your head around JavaScript and CSS in four minutes.

Or four lifetimes.
