InVision Craft for Sketch adds ‘Library’ cloud storage option

InVision Craft for Sketch adds ‘Library’ cloud storage option

InVision’s Craft for Sketch now has a cloud storage option named Library.

Library is meant to be collaborative, and changes made to assets are reflected everywhere. It can be shared with anyone, and is meant to accelerate iterative design.

It syncs with Box, Dropbox or Google Drive for storage, but makes a home in the Craft suite for Sketch so you can implement your stored items quickly. For those working on multiple products (or who may want to keep various elements silo’d), Library supports multiple folders.

It’s not meant for finished products, though. Rather, InVision wants teams to store elements like fonts or custom elements like buttons or symbols.

While Craft is available for both Adobe and Sketch, Libraries is only being made available for Sketch. It’s not known if that will change, but Adobe’s powerful cloud solutions may dissuade InVision from challenging it.

InVision has also hired Sarah Hunt as a Product Manager. Ironically, Hunt worked on Adobe XD ahead of joining InVision, and notes she’d grown out of her position with the company.

Library is available as a free download via Craft.
