Twitter Fabric now has speech recognition courtesy of Nuance’s SpeechKit

Voice detection has come to Twitter Fabric by way of Nuance, the company behind the powerful Dragon voice-to-type platform.

SpeechKit is Nuance’s plugin for Fabric apps, offering cloud-based speech recognition and natural text-to-voice interactions for users. It can be installed quickly and easily via Fabric, too.

Announced in October, Nuance’s SpeechKit for Fabric was in beta mode until today. It’s available for both iOS and Android, and supports over 40 languages.

Developers already using Nuance can still take advantage of SpeechKit, and Twitter will provision your keys for you.

The Nuance SpeechKit is ready to download now from the Twitter Fabric Website.
