A lot of nicely designed products never take off or get noticed. Good design is not enough. There are so many pieces to consider and things you have to nail to get a product out ahead of the pack.

Amen. Consumer-grade design in an enterprise product is great for encouraging teams to adopt it, but it doesn’t guarantee success. Yes, make your products look great, but they won’t make a bad product a hit.
