Check out this epic collection of motion graphics created by SVA’s graduating class

The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NYC has long housed impressive talent in the fields of design, advertising and motion graphics, but the 2012 graduating class’ portfolio screening honestly blew me away.

Most schools out there have a sad tendency to baby students though graduation, but it looks like SVA knows that beating the benefits of a real-world portfolio into its students heads is the best way to go.

As you will see below in this epic 40 minute collection of surprisingly diverse work, motion graphics is quite a broad category that hybridizes animation and design into something that nearly every major company on the planet needs:

If you’re itching to see more, SVA has recently released its entire 2012 student design & advertising portfolio as a free app for iOS, featuring much more than just motion graphic work. It’s an excellent way for a school to promote its students and name, while showing some digital literacy in the process.
