Emoji are getting closer and closer to becoming the language of the internet.
LA-based art gallery, Cantor Fine Art, has been creating and sharing custom emoji based on various artists. Their Instagram features their emojified portraits referring to their personal style and artworks.
This fun crossover between modern art and technology makes for aesthetically simple, but instantly recognizable icons, as seen below.
Among fun illustrations it’s possible to find Picasso, van Gogh, Dali and Basquiat.
