150 cities, 300 city representatives

On May 25th, StartupAmsterdam and TNW will host the second annual StartupCity Summit: a place to share insights and discuss the current and future role of local governments in creating flourishing tech ecosystems.

This year, 300 city officials and local ecosystem builders from 150 different cities will join us to share best practices. Through roundtable sessions and peer-to-peer learning, you will develop strategies that will strengthen your city’s ecosystem.

Last year, the first edition of the StartupCity Summit brought together 80 representatives of 45 international cities. Participating cities included Hong Kong, Taipei, Paris, Oslo, St Louis, Barcelona, Vilnius, Hyderabad and Cairo. Connections were made, policies and ideas exchanged and collaboration networks were set up.

Topics of the day will include:

Developing your own Action Program | Government as a launching customer | Female Entrepreneurship | Crypto Cities | Globally Connect Your Ecosystem | Activating Corporates for your Ecosystem | Attracting and Upskilling Talent | Growing 2nd Tier City Ecosystems | Establishing Inclusive Growth | Developing Innovation Districts
