Amazon quietly begins rolling out its Kindle Store in Canada, but no devices in sight

Amazon has quietly launched its Kindle Store in Canada, specialized blog The Digital Reader reports. This move occurs less than two days after its under-the-radar rollout in Brazil.

While no official announcement has been made, the Canadian version of Amazon’s Kindle Store can already be accessed via several pages, and features e-books priced in Canadian dollars, hinting at an imminent full deployment of its digital library.

However, we couldn’t find any listing for Kindle devices. At the moment, Canadians can order certain Kindle e-readers via Amazon.com, but Kindle Fire tablets and Kindle Paperwhite models aren’t available for delivery in the country.
