Yeah I might have written the book on Foursquare (seriously), but I still don’t have a swarm or super swarm badge to my name. That might change soon if Montreal-based Foursquare Mobs has anything to do with it.
The idea is simple, like planning a Tweetup or Meetup, you log into Foursquare with OAuth (Foursquare Mobs uses the Foursquare API), fill in the form and …
that’s it.
Looks pretty simple to me.
Now, the operative question is, what this will lead to. I don’t really see a business model here. Maybe making deals with venues, but beyond that I think it’s a neat idea that might catch on and get the developers some attention.
Now to plan and event so I can get that swarm badge…
