Storenvy, the online marketplace for emerging brands, has updated its retail platform today with a new look and features designed to make it a more valuable proposition for sellers and buyers alike.
The update sees a redesigned homepage with more than 100 ‘brand stories’ alongside editorial features designed to build on the sense of community. While other marketplaces like Etsy occupy a similar space in the market, Storenvy is slightly different as there’s a far stronger social network element to the platform – items are easily pinned and shared, a little like on Pinterest.
The brand stories are designed to give potential buyers, or just interested onlookers, the story behind some of the up-and-coming (as well as more established) businesses.
