Christopher Ferris is an IBM Fellow and IBM's CTO Open Technology who has been involved in the architecture, design, and engineering of distributed systems for most of his 38+ year career and actively engaged in open standards and open source development since 1999. Chris is responsible for IBM's overall open source and open standards strategy and execution. He is also responsible for technical oversight and leadership in Hyperledger, Apache, Kafka, Cloud Foundry, Cloud Native Compute Foundation, Open Container Initiative, Docker and more.
