Evernote opens its Business service to users across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong

Evernote opens its Business service to users across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong

Users of Evernote in Southeast Asia now have cause to cheer as Evernote Business, the business-focused service that expands on Evernote’s standard and premium offerings, has expanded to the region.

According to a Tech in Asia report, Evernote Business is now available in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The service is retailing for the usual price of $10 per user per month.

This comes hot on the heels of the launch of Evernote Business in China earlier this month, where Evernote has over 4 million users. It also follows after Evernote Business rolled out to an additional 26 markets in Europe in February, and named Ken Gullicksen as its Chief Operating Officer to oversee growth.

TiA reports that earlier this year, Evernote’s Tiang Lim Foo of Asia Pacific Market Development said the note-syncing company has 2 million users throughout Southeast Asia, with about 400,000 in Thailand and 350,000 in Indonesia.

Evernote Business was announced in August last year, and launched in December in France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Canada, Japan, and the US. It is now available in a total of more than 70 countries worldwide and boasts more than 5,000 businesses using the service.
