This is the perfect tool for finding anyone’s contact details

This is the perfect tool for finding anyone’s contact details

Figuring out contact details for someone you don’t know can be difficult, and it’s something I’ve frequently had to do in my job at The Next Web.

Some tools exist out there that can do it, but Clearbit Connect, which launches today, is a cut above the rest.

It’s a dead simple way to get contact details for anyone at any company by just searching their name. What you’ll get back is an email address for them, whether it’s verified to be really them and their social media profiles.

You start by typing a company name

It’s a boon for anyone who’s ever wanted to get direct contact with high-level people at companies and makes it incredibly accessible. I grabbed Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s email address in about 30 seconds.

Clearbit Connect will also show you the information it knows about the people who email you, all tucked in Gmail’s sidebar as you’re reading.

I’ve been using the tool for a few months while it was in private beta and have become a huge fan of it, frequently using it to figure out the right details for all sorts of people.

Connect is free at launch and works directly in your browser – it’s based on top of the technology Clearbit built for its other tools, like the email address API.
