There are plenty of ways to find cool videos to watch on the Web, but I’m always on the lookout for new curation sites because I want to see clips that aren’t already doing the rounds online.
That’s why I was glad I stumbled upon Autoplay. It presents videos in an interesting collection of channels and features a slick, minimal interface that’s perfect for enjoying on your TV.
Ever been to a tech festival?
TNW Conference won best European Event 2016 for our festival vibe. See what's in store for 2017.
Fire up Autoplay and you’ll be able to choose from eight channels that cover indie music videos, clever stuff to tickle your funny bone, novel creations that blend art and tech, movie trailers of classic films, extreme sports and outdoor adventures, world news, fresh rap and hip-hop artists as well as extraordinary visuals.
Flipping through the eclectic range of channels for the better part of a Monday morning surfaced great videos that I hadn’t come across elsewhere: from Slum Sociable’s breezy new single ‘Anyway’ to the LED wizardry behind Tiny Rebellion’s Truecar project and the gorgeous visualizations for Royksopp’s new tour.
You’ll find also find buttons beneath each video to help you quickly navigate to digital music stores to buy tunes or view the IMDb page for a movie while watching its trailer. If you’re hankering for something new to watch, be sure to give Autoplay a go.
