HBO Now can stream to Chromecast starting today

If you’re a Chromecast owner that loves some ‘Game of Thrones’ or ‘Silicon Valley,’ you’re in for a treat: you can now stream HBO Now content to everyone’s favorite Google dongle.

The changelog for the most recent version of the iOS app mentions the new support, in addition to newly-implemented push notifications and the expected bug fixes.

There’s no Android support as of the time of writing, but we’d imagine it’ll arrive soon. Update 11:54 AM ET: It’s on Android now too.

TechCrunch notes that Roku support will also likely arrive in due time.

While HBO no longer lists Roku under platforms where Now will be ‘coming soon,’ an HBO representative said the company is looking to get the service on as many platforms as possible, though he couldn’t specify a date for Roku.

Amazon’s Fire TV appears to still be on track for impending support though.
