Channel 4 updates 4oD on iOS and teases All 4 live streaming

Channel 4 updates 4oD on iOS and teases All 4 live streaming

UK TV network Channel 4 has updated its on-demand service 4oD on iOS. The refresh gives the app a new polished grid layout and brings sections dedicated to online boxsets and short shows to the fore.

It’s also notable that when you fire up the app after updating, you’ll see a message trailing the channel’s upcoming All 4 service. All 4 will replace 4oD, adding live streaming for Channel 4, Channel 4+1, E4 and More 4 as well as premiering new shows.

The network announced All 4 in September 2014 and promised it would roll out this year, coming to PC and iOS first, before heading to Android, PS3, Xbox, YouView, Sky, Virgin Media and BT.

With the new look of the 4oD iOS app closely resembling the All 4 preview images, it seems like we’ll see its replacement launch very soon.
