Streye lets you live stream directly from Google Glass to YouTube

If you’re one of the relatively few Google Glass owners in the world and want a way to live stream exactly what you’re seeing at any given moment, then Streye Live from the Spanish development team Droiders is probably worth checking out.

Available to download from today, the Streye Live app for Glass allows you to start broadcasting to YouTube’s Live Events section in a single tap, or using the “OK, Glass, start broadcasting” voice command. The company said it would work for anyone using the current Explorer edition of Glass.

The team said the announcement is really a teaser ahead of a full suite of Glass-related product announcements at Mobile World Congress next month, however, with Google ending the Glass program in its current form, there has to be some question mark over what comes next for the longer-term future of the services and apps launching on current hardware.
