Presentation platform Prezi has launched its first standalone app and it’s got nothing to do with wowing your bosses. Nutshell is an iPhone app that turns your photos into mini-movies.
If you’ve used Prezi, you’ll know that it’s got knack for applying effects to what might otherwise be stultifying slideshows. It’s applied the same approach to the new app.
After you’ve snapped three photos with Nutshell, it’ll animate them into a sequence. You can then add graphics and text before sharing your creation to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
While there was already a Prezi app for iOS, the new app is the company’s first release beyond its core product.
