A new Slack integration from Logentries announced today means that even devops teams can drop email alerts in favor of chat notifications from Slack.
Logentries is a tool that businesses can use to retain logs in a single location and helps make it easier to analyze and search them for infrastructure and devops teams to diagnose problems.
The Logentries integration is a custom webhook that offers real-time alerts and log events from Logentries directly inside Slack channels. Alerts can be sent to individual Slack channels to update teams when important events happen in their server infrastructure.
The new Logentries’ integration joins a slew of other services that Slack can directly integrate with.
