App Annie’s new tool tells developers who’s using their app and why

App Annie’s new tool tells developers who’s using their app and why

App Annie, an analytics firm that focuses on app market data, has launched a new product to help developers find out more about their users

Audience Intelligence is an expansion of the company’s existing App Annie Intelligence platform and offers insights on user demographics and habits.

Using the tool, developers can dig into metrics including the age, gender and income of their app’s users. It also offers breakdowns by country, month of use and the specific app store used as well as the ability to track trends on different mobile platforms.

A “Related Apps” section allows Audience Intelligence users to see connections between apps, showing which ones share users. In the screenshot below you can see that MeOw Cat users are also big fans of Facebook and WhatsApp.
