Virgin Media subscribers can now get Sky Movies on Android

Virgin Media subscribers can now get Sky Movies on Android

Virgin Media customers have had access to Sky Movies and Sky Sports on iOS devices since the summer but the Android fans among them were left out.  That’s changed today for movie lovers at least. The latest Sky Movies Android app update has unlocked access for eligible Virgin Media subscribers.

If you’re signed up to the M+ Virgin TV package or higher, you can now log in to the Sky Movies app with your account details. However, if you’ve upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop, the developers warn you might suffer video streaming issues.

There’s no sign of access to the Sky Sports app on Android for Virgin Media customers yet but the company says it’s in the works.
