Yummly’s recipe discovery app arrives for Android-owning foodies

Yummly has today announced the launch of its recipe search and discovery app for Android devices.

Available on iOS since September 2013, it’s only now that Android-owning foodies can get in on the action and browse recipe recommendations, search for specific dishes and curate their own collection of favorites.

With more than one million recipes on the platform, the search filter will probably come in handy to help you cut through the chaff and get straight to dishes relevant to your needs. As well as searching by parameters like cuisine, diet, nutrition, cooking time (and other criteria), you can also filter by categories such as vegan, gluten-free, nut-free etc.

The <3 of EU tech

And of course, it’s all delivered alongside beautiful glossy images of food, which should provide just enough inspiration to get cooking, rather than reaching for the take-out menus.
