BlackBerry 10 continues to struggle as a modern smartphone OS, but today the platform’s official Twitter app received a hearty update.
The app finally supports draft tweets, so you can easily save a 140-character masterpiece if you suddenly lose your internet connection. In addition, it’s now possible to swipe between the Activity and Discover sections of the app, rather than punching the dedicated tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Photos have also been overhauled for version 10.3, with support for images in Direct Messages and the option to toggle them off in your timeline. When uploading a picture, there’s also a retake option for when you mistime the perfect selfie. Finally, the updated app now supports account screening, so users will be asked to verify their age when following appropriate accounts.
The updated Twitter app is available now in the BlackBerry World store.
