Soundrop brings its social jukebox and chat rooms app to music streaming service Deezer on the Web

Soundrop launched its social music discovery app on Deezer today, giving audiophiles the chance to join thousands of collaborative listening rooms via the on-demand music streaming service.

Similar to its existing Spotify and Facebook integration, users can boot up the app and jump into a room based on any artist or genre. Almost like a jukebox, users are able to suggest tracks and upvote those put forward by fellow listeners.

The app also offers real-time chat so that users can converse with one another and discuss their picks. Soundrop is also available on the Web via YouTube and as a native iOS app. Playback for the latter relies on an active Spotify subscription, but perhaps we’ll see Deezer supported in the future.
