Cromonitor lets you keep track of your competitors’ A/B tests

Cromonitor lets you keep track of your competitors’ A/B tests

A/B and multi-variate testing is all the rage right now. If you’re curious what kinds of tests your competitors are running on their websites, Rocketmill’s Cromonitor service can notify you when it detects them.

The service, which works across mobile, desktop and tablet websites, takes screenshots of monitored pages from different IP addresses at scheduled intervals. It then compares the resulting images and lets you know when there are changes. The default version of Cromonitor allows up to three Watchlists, with two URLs each, and up to 200MB of storage.

It’s hard not to pass up the opportunity to learn from your competitors’ tests. Using Cromonitor might feel a bit sneaky, but then again, there’s always the possibility that your rivals are already monitoring your site.
