HotelTonight goes higher-class with suites, villas, and penthouses, and rolls into Central Europe

Fresh from its $45m funding round, curated same-day hotel-booking service HotelTonight has announced that it has expanded into Central Europe, adding hotels in Prague (Czech Republic), Budapest (Hungary), and Vienna (Austria). In addition to its expansion across Europe, HotelTonight is also adding a handful of new destinations in Mexico, USA and Canada.

Las Vegas Palms 1HotelTonight is aimed at the higher-end last-minute market, letting you book same-day hotel rooms starting at 12pm on the day for up to 70% less in more than 150 cities across North America and Europe.

Over and above this, however, the latest versions of its iOS and Android apps also now let you scan your credit/debit card details rather than manually entering them. And, interestingly, HotelTonight is now offering so-called ‘HighRoller’ accommodation from today, a new category that specifically covers suites, penthouses and villas, at up to 50% off the regular rate.

HighRoller is currently only available in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York City, but more cities will be added soon.
